Join the Adult Reading Challenge (ARC), a new year long reading challenge for any adult over 18!

Pick up a paper bookmark log at the library or use ReadSquared to track your reading of 12 different prompts throughout the year, and pick up a prize from the Adult and Teen Services Desk after you complete each prompt. Log with your bookmark and on ReadSquared between January 1 and December 31, 2025.

Each month the ARC Team will highlight a different prompt and send out emails with suggestions and highlights for the month, including related programming or events at the library.

Read a novella during the shortest month (February), celebrate an author’s first book with the first month of the year, or complete the challenges in any order! Check ReadSquared for book lists and recommended reading from your DGPL librarians.

Once you complete all 12 prompts, come to the Adult and Teen Services Department for your grand prize!

All prizes can be picked up starting February 1, 2025.
